Online Admission Standards
MJ in Health Law for Health Care Professionals
The MJ Admissions Committee seeks applicants who will bring a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to their coursework and to the heath care profession. The MJ program attracts motivated students who appreciate the challenge and professional development opportunities a legal education offers. Admission decisions are competitive and made on a rolling basis.
MJ Applicant Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree (at minimum)
- 3 years experience in the health care field (minimum)
- The MJ DOES NOT require the GRE or any other entrance examination as part of the admissions process.
LLM in Health Law for Attorneys
Our LLM program attracts attorneys with varying backgrounds, interests, and goals. This degree is available both online and on campus and admission standards are the same for both delivery options.
LLM Applicant Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree (at minimum)
- A JD degree from an ABA-accredited Law School OR must be licensed to practice law in the state or country of residence.
- 3 years experience in the legal or health care professions (at minimum) (Interested attorneys with less than 3 years experience with are encouraged to apply for Loyola's campus-based LLM program.)
- The LLM DOES NOT require the LSAT, GRE or any other entrance examination as part of the admisssions process.
